Technical Support
Nobody likes it, but everbody experiences it at some point: a computer fails, crashes, or just plain stops working, and we make that nervous call to technical support to fix the problem. It might be something simple, like a cable that fell out, or it might be more serious. Regardless of the problem, the worst part of it is not knowing. Not knowing what caused it, how to fix it, or how much it will cost to repair.
We provide emergency services for any home or business user who needs it. Many of our customers have frequent needs for technical support, whether it's to fix a problem or just to provide a "checkup" on computers to make sure they're running at their best on a regular basis, to prevent future problems.
We offer three types of technical support services, each geared towards different needs:
- Emergency Services. These could occur at any time, and as long as you are in the city limits of London, Ontario, you pay only a flat $60 fee for up to two hours of service, and $25/hr for each hour thereafter. If we can resolve your problem through a remote connection using our Remote Administrator, you pay a flat rate of $25, plus $0.15 a minute for connection time. Most problems that can be resolved by remote administration take less than 10 minutes to resolve. If the problem cannot be solved remotely, you owe nothing for the call, but standard rates for on-site service will apply.
- Computer Health Check. A computer health check is a unique service we provide that provides a system wide analysis of your computer to make sure that all of the critical items are working correctly. This includes things like virus scans, spyware removal, Windows and Mac System Updates, disk space checks, etc. A computer health check is normally scheduled monthly for most businesses, and ensures that your systems are staying healthy and operating normally. - SafeGuard Preventive Maintenance Plans. A SafeGuard PMP is a prepaid service we offer to businesses that covers a variety of services, and a certain number of "reserved" hours each month that we make available to your company to handle technical support, consulting and emergency calls.
